Getting from Amorgos to Antiparos

If you are heading to Antiparos from Amorgos you are making your way from the most eastern of the Cyclades to a small island just off the western coast of Paros. It has a Venetian kastro village, good beaches and an atmosphere that rewards those who stay overnight rather than visiting on a day trip from Paros.

Take the ferry

There is no direct ferry from Amorgos to Antiparos. Antiparos is accessible only via Paros, either by a 7 minute local ferry from Pounta on the western coast of Paros running every 30 minutes in summer, or by passenger boat from Parikia taking around 30 minutes. Getting to Paros from Amorgos means taking the ferry from Amorgos to Paros directly, which runs several times a week in summer and takes around 2 to 4 hours, and then crossing to Antiparos from Pounta.

Getting there by air

Antiparos has no airport. The nearest airport is Paros, though no commercial scheduled flights operate there in 2026. Amorgos has no airport either. The ferry from Amorgos to Paros followed by the short crossing to Antiparos is the most practical approach. In Greece, airlines do not operate direct inter island flights.

Your best option

Take the direct ferry from Amorgos to Paros and then cross to Antiparos from Pounta. The Pounta to Antiparos ferry runs every 30 minutes in summer, takes 7 minutes and carries vehicles. It is one of the most effortless island connections in the Cyclades and keeps the entire journey within the island group.
