Getting from Donoussa to Paros

If you are heading to Paros from Donoussa you are making your way from one of the Small Cyclades to the hub of the Cyclades, in the same island group. Getting there by air

Paros has a small airstrip but no commercial scheduled flights in 2026. Donoussa has no airport. The nearest airport is Naxos. The direct ferry connection is the most practical approach for this island hop given the natural sea route available several times a week.

Take the direct Blue Star ferry from Donoussa to Paros. It is the most natural and enjoyable connection and keeps the journey entirely within the Cyclades. Check the schedule carefully before booking as the service runs a limited number of times per week and departure days vary by season. Book ahead in July and August as Paros is one of the most popular islands in the Cyclades and accommodation fills up fast. If you are traveling with a car, the conventional ferry takes your vehicle directly to Parikia port.
