Kokkari Beach Samos

Kokkari Beach is a long and beautiful pebbly shore located on the northern coast of Samos, right in front of one of the island's most picturesque villages. It features clear blue water and white pebbles that create a bright and clean environment for a swim. The beach is well-organized with many sunbeds, umbrellas, and several beach bars that offer a vibrant social atmosphere. Because it faces north, it is often subject to the strong meltemi winds, making it a premier destination for windsurfing and other water sports. The surrounding area is full of traditional tavernas and colorful houses that line the waterfront. The water gets deep relatively quickly, providing a refreshing and invigorating environment for strong swimmers. It is a hub of activity and reflects the authentic maritime spirit of the northern Aegean. The entry into the water is via the pebbles, so care is needed when walking. It is a central part of the island's seaside life and a favorite for those who enjoy the wind.
