About the Beach

Made Beach is a small and peaceful coastal cove located on the northern coast of Crete just west of Heraklion within a rugged landscape of steep cliffs and residential villas featuring a landscape of small pebbles and sand that is exceptionally sheltered from the northern winds in a well-organized environment that caters primarily to the guests of the surrounding hotels and local holiday homeowners where the deep emerald waters and the rocky seabed provide a quiet and intimate setting for snorkeling and swimming away from the larger and more crowded resort areas of the central coast providing a sense of seclusion and Mediterranean charm that is defined by its compact size and its position at the base of a dramatic hillside descent.
