About the Beach

Pserimos is the main beach of the island, located right in front of the charming settlement of Avlakia. It features a long stretch of fine golden sand and very shallow, calm water that is protected from the winds. The beach is partially organized with some sunbeds and is lined with traditional tavernas and cafes where you can enjoy local food. It is the central hub of the island life and is very popular with day-trippers from nearby Kos and Kalymnos. The water is exceptionally clean and safe for children, offering a relaxed swimming experience. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, reflecting the maritime culture of the Dodecanese. It is a destination for those who want a comfortable beach day with all the facilities nearby. The entry into the water is very smooth. Many people enjoy the view of the boats in the harbor.
