About the Beach
Zogeria Beach is one of the most beautiful and legendary emerald coves on the northern coast of Spetses, famous for its lush green surroundings and its crystal-clear water. It features a shore of fine sand and small pebbles, surrounded by a dense forest of pine trees that reach the edge of the water and provide a fresh and shaded environment. The beach is partially organized with a few sunbeds and a traditional taverna that is famous for its local food and quiet setting. A small white chapel dedicated to Agios Georgios stands on the rocky headland, providing a panoramic view of the coastline and the Peloponnese. The water is consistently calm because the bay is well-protected from the northern winds, making it a choice for a relaxing and high-quality swim. Access is via a scenic boat ride from the harbor of Dapia or a long dirt track through the forest. It is a destination for those who want to find a private and scenic corner of the island with a touch of traditional elegance. The atmosphere is quiet and respectful, reflecting the private spirit of the coast.
