A couple of weeks after he was spotted in Mykonos, Michael Jordan has turned up on the other side of Greece. The NBA legend is in Fiskardo, the pretty harbor village on the northern tip of Kefalonia, and the island is handling it about as calmly as you would expect.

According to Espresso, which published an exclusive shot of the visit, Jordan is in Fiskardo with his wife, Yvette Prieto, and the couple sat down for a meal at Tassia, one of the best-known restaurants in the village.

Tassia has confirmed it too. In a post shared by the Dendrinos family, who run the restaurant, they wrote (in Greek) that some moments you never imagine will happen, and then suddenly they do. For their generation, they added, Jordan is not just one of the greatest athletes of all time but their basketball hero, as KefaloniaPress reported.

Kefalonia Magazine, citing ANT1's morning show To Proino, reports that Jordan arrived on his superyacht, a vessel of about 75 meters, with Kefalonia as one stop on a summer trip around the Ionian Islands.

The booking had reportedly been made days in advance, and nobody at the restaurant quite believed it was really him until his arrival was confirmed. The first requests were all about privacy: a quieter, more secluded table and no unwanted photos.

Then Greek hospitality did what it does. As the night went on, Jordan loosened up and even moved to a more visible spot near the entrance, according to the same report. His order: the restaurant's famous lobster spaghetti (astakomakaronada, for the Greek speakers), plus a spread of Greek appetizers.

The surprise of the evening, though, may have been Yvette Prieto. The restaurant's owner told the show she was struck by how kind, down to earth and friendly Prieto was with everyone.

Hellenic Daily News adds that after the meal Jordan took time to talk with the staff and pose for photos with them.

Fiskardo has drawn yachts and big names for decades, but a six-time NBA champion at a waterfront table in June is a new level, even for this harbor.
