The Embassy of Greece in Moscow represents the Hellenic Republic in Russia, and is also accredited to Belarus, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, overseeing diplomatic, consular, and economic relations across this jurisdiction. Greek Community in Moscow, Russia

Russia is home to one of the oldest and largest Greek diaspora populations in the world, historically concentrated in the Black Sea and Caucasus regions such as the Pontic Greek communities of Georgia, southern Russia, and Ukraine, many of whom were forcibly deported to Central Asia and Siberia under Stalin before later resettling. Moscow's own Greek presence is smaller and more diplomatically and academically oriented than the historic communities of southern Russia, shaped by business, cultural exchange, and Greek institutions based in the capital. Population estimates for Greeks and people of Greek descent across Russia as a whole are cited in the tens of thousands to low hundreds of thousands, though the historic core of the community lies well outside Moscow itself.
