About The Event
The Hellenic Women's Club (EOK) celebrates its 90th anniversary at the Mistletoe Ball on Saturday, November 28, 2026, at 6:30 PM at the historic Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston. The evening pays special tribute to His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios in celebration of his 80th birthday and decades of faithful service, and features an exclusive performance by Glykeria, one of Greece's most beloved singers, with special guest Kostas Ageris. Founded in Boston in 1936 by seven women of Greek descent, the club began as a sewing circle raising funds for Greek soldiers and orphans during the Greek War Relief effort. The Mistletoe Ball has been held since 1946, when members organized the first dinner dance to raise funds for war-torn Greece, and it is the longest consecutively held event of its kind in Boston.
