About The Event
St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church at 2727 W. Winona St. in Chicago's Lincoln Square hosts GreekTober Fest on Saturday, October 17 from 3 PM to 10 PM and Sunday, October 18 from 12 PM to 9 PM, all indoors, rain or shine. Guests can dine in or carry out authentic Greek food, pastries and loukoumades, including roasted suckling pig sold by the pound on Saturday, with live music by the Daderall Band and Whispers of the Mediterranean, performances by the Thriamvos Dance Group and the St. Demetrios Adult Dance Troupe, a meet and greet with Desmond Armstrong on Sunday and a 50/50 split the pot raffle.
