About The Event
The Hellenic-American Cultural Center & Museum welcomes back the Kombos Collective (formerly the Greek Chamber Music Project) for Music of Resistance, an epic tribute to composer and activist Mikis Theodorakis. The program includes original arrangements of The Ballad of Mauthausen, selections of Canto General, his folk oratorio set to the poetry of Pablo Neruda, and other treasured Theodorakis songs. Friday 6 November 2026 at PSU Lincoln Recital Hall, 1620 SW Park Ave., Portland. Doors and reception 7:00 PM, concert 7:30 PM. The event is a fundraiser benefitting HACCM.
