About The Event
Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, part of the Upper Darby community since 1942, brings back its fall Greek Wine and Food Festival from Friday November 6 through Sunday November 8. Expect Greek street food favorites and home cooked specialties made from family recipes, homemade pastries like baklava, Greek wines, beer and spirits, and traditional Greek dance groups from across the tri state area. The bakaliko marketplace offers cookies, treats and specialty goods from Greece, and there is a children's play area with activities for kids. Hours are Friday 4 PM to 10 PM, Saturday noon to 10 PM and Sunday noon to 8 PM.
