About The Event
Στις Γειτονιές των Ελλήνων is a musical journey through the neighbourhoods of Hellenism, from Piraeus and Thessaloniki to Smyrna, Pontus, Alexandria, Southern Italy and Cyprus, exploring family and neighbourhood, the sea and love, refugees and life abroad, tradition and nostalgia. Singers Giorgos Berdelis, Sotiris Proiskos and Dimitra Christoforidou perform with soloist Michalis Tsimekas and the choir of Giorgos Berdelis' music workshop. Saturday 7 November 2026 at 8:30 PM at the Megaron Athens Concert Hall, Music Library teaching hall. Duration 2 hours without intermission.
