About The Event
Following their performance at WOMADelaide earlier this year, XYLOURIDES return to Melbourne for a show at the Brunswick Ballroom on Thursday, November 5, 2026. Siblings Nick, Adonis and Apollonia Xylouris come from the mountain village of Anogeia in Crete and are direct descendants of Cretan music icons Nikos Xylouris, Psarantonis and Psaragiorgis. The performance brings together Nick's fast-paced lyra, Adonis's rhythmic laouto and Apollonia's percussion, with their three-part vocal harmonies. Doors and the kitchen open at 6:30 PM and the show starts at 8 PM.
