About the Business
Boutz Cellars is the story of a father and son, James and Manoli Boutzoukas, building a family legacy rooted in farming, wine, and Greek heritage.
What began as a family winemaking tradition in 1994 eventually led to the founding of Boutz Cellars in Paso Robles’ Adelaida District. Today, we farm 52 acres across two ranches, cultivating both classic and rare Greek varietals. Proudly, we established the first Greek wine grape program on California’s Central Coast, introducing varieties such as Assyrtiko, Moschofilero, Vidiano, Xinomavro, Agiorgitiko, Liatiko, and Kotsifali.
Guided by hard work, sustainable farming, and a commitment to quality over quantity, we honor the traditions of our ancestors while helping write the next chapter of Greek wine in California.
