About Aeifos Boutique Hotel

Aeifos means "eternal light". Aeifos Boutique Hotel is a five-star hotel of 20 rooms and suites in Imerovigli, Santorini, built in 2020 on a hilltop with roughly 270-degree caldera, volcano and Aegean views. The buildings follow traditional Santorini architecture with contemporary interiors. Guests arrive by car from the Fira-Oia road or on foot along Imerovigli's main pathway.

Reception is open 24 hours, wifi is free throughout, and there is a concierge, luggage storage, twice-daily housekeeping and 24-hour room service. Facilities include a lobby bar, a restaurant by the pool, a fitness centre and a sauna. Accessible rooms and an elevator are available, and transfers can be arranged for a charge.

Rooms and suites

Every room has air conditioning, free wifi, a safe, a mini fridge, a Nespresso machine and tea facilities, satellite TV, bathrobes and slippers, a private terrace or balcony, and KNX smart room controls.

The Island Classic is about 20 sq m for two, with an Aegean or island view. Comfort Courtyard Rooms (26 to 30 sq m) look over the courtyard, and Comfort Family Courtyard Rooms (40 to 59 sq m) sleep up to four. The Island Junior Suite is 27 sq m for up to three, with an open-plan living area and an Aegean-view balcony.

On the caldera side, Caldera Panorama rooms (21 to 29 sq m) have a private balcony and outdoor hot tub, while Caldera Deluxe rooms (23 to 29 sq m) open to a shared plunge pool. The Santorini Sunrise Suite (27 sq m) adds a balcony hot tub with island and sea views. The Aeifos Honeymoon Suite (39 sq m) sits on the upper front floor with a king bed, sitting area, outdoor hot tub and caldera view. The Athena Suite (49 sq m, including terrace) is a ground-floor one-bedroom for up to four, with two bathrooms and a private plunge pool. Niki Villa (59 sq m) is a one-bedroom caldera villa with indoor and outdoor jacuzzis; it is adults only and reached by 39 steps.

Infinity pool and breakfast

The infinity pool faces the caldera, with sunbeds, umbrellas, towels and a pool bar. Listings put pool hours at 8am to 6:30pm. Guests have free use of the gym and sauna, and in-room spa treatments can be requested.

Breakfast is a daily Greek and international buffet from 8am to 11am, with an egg menu and a Greek option, plus takeaway for early departures. Lunch snacks can be served at the loungers. In the evening, Bony Fish Santorini serves seafood and other dishes by the pool from 7pm to 10:30pm. Room service runs 24 hours, with a limited overnight menu.

Location and getting around

The hotel places itself about 1.5 km from Fira. From the Greek hotel register coordinates (36.430943, 25.425587), OpenStreetMap routing puts Skaros Rock about 0.7 km away, Fira about 1.5 km, Santorini Airport about 7.7 km by road and Athinios ferry port about 11 km. Oia is about 9.5 km by road. Free public parking is available nearby; hotel parking is available for a charge. Transfers can be arranged for a fee.
