About COCO-MAT Athens Jumelle

COCO-MAT Athens Jumelle is at 2 Irodotou Street in Kolonaki, a neighbourhood of shopping streets, cafes, restaurants and museums about 10 minutes on foot from Syntagma Square. The hotel joins a neoclassical mansion from 1925 with a building from 1965, so original details such as fireplaces sit alongside modern rooms. Sleep is the focus: every room has COCO-MAT mattresses, natural bedding and a pillow menu. The front desk can arrange private or shared guided tours, restaurant reservations, taxis at any hour and paid transfers to the airport and the ports.

Rooms and suites

All rooms have an espresso machine with complimentary capsules, a kettle with herbal tea, a smart TV, a Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth speaker, bathrobes and slippers. The hotel does not offer twin beds, but on request a king-size bed (200 x 180 cm) can be made up with separate duvets and linen.

The entry rooms all measure 20 sq m and sleep two. The Proxy Room is on the ground floor and is the budget-friendly choice for travellers who mostly need a good night's sleep. The Peer Room looks out over the neighbourhood, the Peer Balcony Room adds a balcony over the street that suits business travellers who want somewhere to unwind, and the Neoclassical Room has a city view.

The Athenean Suite (35 sq m) feels like a city apartment for two, and the Neoclassical Suite (40 sq m) adds city views for couples who want more room. Some categories have a sofa bed for up to two adults and two children, interconnecting rooms can be requested for families and groups, and baby cots are available on request.

Indoor pool and breakfast

The spa on Level -1 has a heated indoor swimming pool, open daily from 10am to 8pm, plus a hammam, a mini gym, massage rooms and lockers. The pool, hammam and gym are free for hotel guests and the pool needs no booking. Children can swim with a parent or guardian, and towels are provided.

Breakfast is served daily from 7am to noon in the restaurant on the top floor of the neoclassical building. It is a buffet certified as a Greek Breakfast, with PDO Greek products and egg dishes cooked to order, and costs €20 per person if it is not included in your rate. Guests leaving before 7am can ask for a breakfast box. Lunch, dinner and drinks are served from 1pm to 11pm, with last dinner orders at 10pm. Room service runs during restaurant hours, and the Honesty Bar lets you help yourself to snacks and drinks at any time of day or night.
