About Crowne Plaza Athens City Centre
Crowne Plaza Athens City Centre is at 50 Michalakopoulou Avenue, in a neighbourhood with both a residential and a business feel on the edge of downtown Athens. Megaro Moussikis metro station is about seven minutes away on foot, so the historic centre, the airport and the port are all easy to reach. The hotel is set up for both business and leisure stays, with 14 meeting spaces alongside its pool, gym and restaurants.
Rooms and suites
Standard Rooms come with a single bed, a queen bed, two single beds or two double beds, and there is a single room adapted for accessibility. That range makes them easy to match to solo business travellers, couples and families, and family rooms are available. Every room has a marble bathroom, a pillow menu, mattresses with 1,000 pocket springs, an espresso machine, a 49 inch TV with a media hub for your own devices and a laptop-sized safe. There is also a "Forget something" service for anything you left at home, plus 24 hour room service.
Premium Rooms, with a king bed, two double beds or two single beds, add access to the Club Lounge on the 6th floor. The lounge is open around the clock to guests of the 22 Club rooms and six suites, with breakfast from 7am to 11am, snacks from noon to 9pm and drinks from 6pm to 11pm. For more room, choose a One King Bedroom Junior Suite or a One King One Bedroom Suite.
Outdoor pool and breakfast
The outdoor pool is small and meant for cooling off and relaxing rather than swimming laps, so check current opening times with the hotel. The wellness area has a gym with machines and free weights, a sauna and a massage room offering 60 or 90 minute massages, facials, manicures and pedicures by appointment.
Breakfast is served at Ambrosia on the ground floor from 6:30am to 10:30am on weekdays and until 11am at weekends. Breakfast is not complimentary, so check whether your rate includes it. Ambrosia stays open for lunch and dinner from noon to 11:30pm. Nectar Bar in the lobby serves coffee, tea, drinks, snacks and desserts from 9am to midnight. The Roof Garden Restaurant opens in good weather with a view of Lycabettus Hill.
