About Electra Palace Athens
Electra Palace Athens occupies a neoclassical building on Nikodimou Street, at the beginning of Plaka and close to the commercial heart of Athens. It is part of the Greek group Electra Hotels and Resorts.
The atmosphere recalls an older, aristocratic Athens, with classic interiors, marble bathrooms and rooms and suites that range up to a Presidential Suite with its own terrace pool facing the Acropolis. Many rooms have balconies, and selected ones look toward the ancient citadel.
Electra Roof Garden
The Electra Roof Garden on the eighth floor is the hotel's signature restaurant, serving creative Mediterranean fusion dishes. It has received a Michelin Plate, and its terrace offers one of the classic Acropolis views of central Athens.
Breakfast is served here each morning, and the roof garden bar is a relaxed spot for cocktails and snacks as the monument lights up at night.
Pools and wellness
The outdoor pool looks over the rooftops of Plaka toward the Acropolis. The spa also has an indoor heated pool.
The spa, run by Aegeo Spas, offers treatments inspired by Greek natural products, along with a sauna, a jacuzzi and a fitness center.
Location and getting around
Plaka's lanes start at the door, and Syntagma Square, Ermou Street and Monastiraki are a short walk away. The Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the National Garden are all close enough to explore on foot.
