Anthony Locascio Is Bringing "The Divine Comedy" to North America This October

If you've spent any time in the diaspora comedy scene over the last few years, the name Anthony Locascio probably rings a bell, and if it doesn't yet, it's about to. This October, one of Australia's hardest-working stand-ups is finally bringing his acclaimed new show, The Divine Comedy, to North America for the first time, with a run of dates across the US and Canada.
His shows, Pappou especially, have struck a chord with anyone who grew up between two cultures, caught between a Greek yiayia's kitchen table and everything else life throws at you.
The Show
The Divine Comedy is Anthony's newest hour, telling the story of how a meditation retreat pulled him back from the brink after his personal life fell apart in 2025. It's the kind of premise that could go dark fast, but if his past work is anything to go by, expect it to land somewhere between painfully honest and very, very funny. The show has already toured to acclaim across every major Australian city, plus stops in Greece, Turkey and the UK, and picked up the Best Comedy award at Darwin Fringe Festival 2026 along the way.

Anthony's been writing and touring a new full-length show every single year since 2017, including Don't Call Me a Wog!(2022), Heart of Darkness (2023), and the critically acclaimed Pappou (2024-25), which toured internationally to London, New Zealand, Canada and New York before being filmed live at a sold-out Enmore Theatre and released on YouTube. His debut special, Confirmation (2020), was picked up by Comedy Dynamics for worldwide distribution on Amazon Prime and Apple TV.
He's also sold out seasons at Sydney Comedy Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Perth Comedy Festival and Brisbane Comedy Festival, and was hand-picked for the Sydney and Perth Comedy Festival gala showcases in 2021 and 2022.
