In this edition of Greece Chats I interview Ted Xenochristos. Ted is the co-founder of the CAVA Mediterranean Grill food chain that has become wildly popular in the United States.
CAVA is the mediterranean grill that seems to be popping up just about everywhere. Thats because they are. With hundreds of CAVA’s around the US, you can expect that number to continue to grow.
Join me as I talk with Ted about what started it all. We talk about the journey from from opening one restaurant to now having hundreds of stores around the country.
We also dive into Ted’s greek roots, what was it like growing up as a Greek American, where he likes to visit while in Greece, and what does he likes to eat whether he’s in Greece or at CAVA.

Ted is born to Greek Immigrant parents in 1978 in Silver Spring, MD, located just a few miles outside of Washington DC. Currently lives in Rockville, MD.
