Getting from Agistri to Athens
If you are heading to Athens from Agistri you are making the most effortless connection in the Saronic Gulf, back to the capital and everything it connects to.
Take the ferry
The Agistri to Piraeus ferry runs daily year-round with up to 15 daily departures in summer. The fast catamaran takes as little as 55 minutes and the conventional ferry takes around 1 hour 35 minutes. Most ferries depart from Skala port with some services also calling at Myli. From Piraeus the metro takes around 20 minutes to central Athens.
Getting there by air
Agistri has no airport. The ferry is the only option and at under an hour on the fast boat it is one of the most effortless island to city connections in Greece.
Your best option
Take the ferry from Agistri to Piraeus. With up to 15 daily departures in summer you can turn up at the port, buy a ticket and be in Athens within the hour. If you are traveling with a car, the conventional ferry takes your vehicle directly to Piraeus.
