Getting from Alexandroupoli to Milos

If you are heading to Milos from Alexandroupoli you are making your way from the far northeastern corner of Greece to one of the most visually striking islands in the Cyclades, on the opposite side of the country. Alexandroupoli has its own airport with connections from Athens. Milos has its own small airport with connections from Athens. Flying from Alexandroupoli to Athens and then Athens to Milos takes around 40 to 45 minutes on the second leg. Total travel time door to door is around 4 to 5 hours.

Fly from Alexandroupoli to Athens and then fly to Milos or take the ferry from Piraeus. The flight from Athens to Milos takes only 40 minutes and is the faster option. If you are traveling with a car, drive from Alexandroupoli to Piraeus and board the conventional Piraeus to Milos ferry, which takes your vehicle directly to Adamas port.
