Getting from Donoussa to Piraeus

Piraeus has no airport. The nearest airport is Athens International, around 45 kilometres to the east. Donoussa has no airport. The nearest airport is Naxos. Taking the ferry from Naxos to Athens and then the metro or taxi to Piraeus is an alternative but the direct ferry from Donoussa is considerably more convenient for this connection.

Check the departure days carefully before planning as the schedule varies by season. From Piraeus the metro connects you directly to central Athens in around 20 minutes. If you are traveling with a car the direct ferry is the only realistic option as it takes your vehicle directly to the port.
