Getting from Paros to Ios

The Paros to Ios ferry runs year-round with multiple daily departures in summer. The trip takes around 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours on the fast catamaran and around 3 hours on a conventional vessel. It is one of the most straightforward connections in the southern Cyclades and you rarely need to book far in advance except on peak summer weekends.

Getting there by air

Ios has no airport. The ferry is the only option and at under 2 hours on the fast boat it is one of the most effortless island hops in the Cyclades.
