Getting from Paros to Kythira

If you are heading to Kythira from Paros you are making your way to an island at the southern tip of the Peloponnese, caught between the Aegean and the Ionian seas with stone villages, deep gorges and a coastline of turquoise coves.

Getting there by air

Kythira has its own small airport with connections from Athens. Flying from Paros to Athens takes around 45 minutes and then Athens to Kythira takes around 50 minutes. Total travel time is around 3 to 4 hours.

Your best option

Fly to Kythira via Athens. It is the fastest and most practical approach. If you want to combine Kythira with the southern Peloponnese, the ferry from Neapoli to Kythira takes around 1 hour and is worth considering if you are already in the area.
