Getting from Telendos to Antiparos
If you are heading to Antiparos from Telendos you are making your way from a tiny car-free island off the western coast of Kalymnos in the Dodecanese to a small island just off the western coast of Paros in the Cyclades, on the opposite side of the Aegean. It has a Venetian kastro village, good beaches and an atmosphere that rewards those who stay overnight rather than visiting on a day trip from Paros.
Take the ferry
There is no direct ferry from Telendos to Antiparos. Antiparos is accessible only via Paros, either by a 7 minute local ferry from Pounta on the western coast of Paros running every 30 minutes in summer, or by passenger boat from Parikia taking around 30 minutes. Getting there means taking the local boat from Telendos to Myrties on Kalymnos, which takes around 5 minutes, and then either flying from Kalymnos to Athens and taking the Piraeus to Paros ferry before crossing to Antiparos from Pounta, or taking the overnight ferry from Kalymnos port at Pothia to Piraeus and boarding the Piraeus to Paros ferry directly.
Getting there by air
Antiparos has no airport. The nearest airport is Paros, though no commercial scheduled flights operate there in 2026. Telendos has no airport. The nearest airports are Kalymnos and Kos. Taking the local boat from Telendos to Myrties, flying from Kalymnos to Athens and then taking the Piraeus to Paros ferry before crossing to Antiparos from Pounta gives a total journey time of around 6 to 7 hours. In Greece, airlines do not operate direct inter island flights.
Your best option
Take the local boat from Telendos to Myrties and fly from Kalymnos to Athens, then take the Piraeus to Paros ferry and cross to Antiparos from Pounta. The Pounta to Antiparos ferry runs every 30 minutes in summer and takes 7 minutes. If you are traveling with a car, note that no cars are permitted on Telendos so your vehicle would already be on Kalymnos, from where you can take the overnight ferry to Piraeus and board the conventional Piraeus to Paros ferry, then cross to Antiparos from Pounta.
