Choulakia is a unique and protected pebble beach on the northwestern coast of Mykonos. It is famous for its large, smooth stones that have been shaped by the sea over a long time. It is a natural monument and it is not allowed to take any stones from the shore. The beach is unorganized and offers a quiet atmosphere for those who want to see a different geological side of the island. The water is deep and clear, providing a swimming experience for those who do not mind the rocky entry. The surrounding hills are rocky and the area is often windy. It is a spot for watching the sunset and the boats moving toward the port. The atmosphere is raw and peaceful. It is a destination for visitors who appreciate the simple beauty of stone and water. There are no facilities on the beach itself.
