About the Beach

Kambos Beach is a long and expansive sandy area situated on the western side of Antiparos near the agricultural region of the same name. The environment is defined by its wide open spaces and the presence of low dunes and Mediterranean vegetation that separate the shore from the inland farms. Because it is less protected than the eastern bays the landscape feels more energetic and wild with the northern winds often shaping the coastal terrain. The surrounding area remains mostly undeveloped and unorganized providing a sense of freedom and a primitive connection to the sea in a location that is rarely crowded even during the peak summer months.
