About the Beach
Kaspakas is a very scenic and traditional beach located on the western coast of Lemnos, tucked beneath the hillside village of the same name. It features a mix of sand and volcanic pebbles with very clear and refreshing water. The bay is framed by dramatic rock formations that provide a sense of enclosure and protection. While it is close to the popular Agios Ioannis beach, the main Kaspakas shore often feels more local and understated. There are a few traditional tavernas nearby where you can enjoy local dishes with a spectacular view of the sea. The sunsets here are legendary, as the sun dips directly into the Aegean in front of the beach. It is a fantastic destination for those who want a high-quality swimming environment with a very authentic and welcoming atmosphere. The volcanic character of the landscape makes it a very visually striking and memorable spot.
