About the Beach

Kato Fanos Beach is a remote and primitive coastal spot located in a sheltered bay on the southern side of Antiparos near the historic chapel of Agios Georgios. The environment is defined by its sandy shoreline and the low rocky cliffs that surround the bay providing protection from the wind and a sense of enclosure. There are no modern facilities or commercial activities here allowing the landscape to remain in its natural state where the only sounds are the sea and the wind. The surrounding terrain is arid and typical of the Cycladic wilderness offering a quiet and unrefined escape for those who appreciate the islands southern coastal geometry in its rawest form.
