About the Beach

Kotsinas is a very popular and historical sandy beach located in a deep bay on the northern coast of Lemnos, known for its shallow, warm, and very calm water. It is an ideal choice for families with young children, as the sea remains waist-deep for a significant distance from the shore. The beach is well-organized with sunbeds and is located near a small harbor where several excellent traditional tavernas serve fresh local seafood. A unique feature of the area is the historic church of Zoodochos Pigi, which contains a subterranean holy water spring accessible via a series of steps. The atmosphere is friendly and social, reflecting the authentic character of the local community.
