About the Beach

Lolantonis Beach is a picturesque and very popular sandy bay on the southeastern coast of Paros, located near the village of Aspro Chorio and known for its exceptionally clear turquoise water and its traditional atmosphere. It features a shore of fine golden sand and small pebbles, surrounded by a rugged and dry landscape where the maritime breeze is constant and the air is filled with the scent of wild Mediterranean plants. The beach is partially organized with a few sunbeds and is shaded by numerous large tamarisk trees that provide a fresh and natural environment for a long afternoon soak in the sun. A traditional taverna is located on the cliff overlooking the bay, serving fresh local delicacies and chilled drinks in a relaxed and friendly setting that captures the authentic hospitable spirit of the island residents. The water is shallow near the shore and the entry is very easy and sandy for all swimmers, providing a safe and inviting spot for a day by the sea in one of the island's most charming and well-maintained locations.
