About the Beach

Monastiri Beach is a scenic and shallow sandy beach located in the rocky peninsula of the Paros Park on the northern coast of the island. It features fine sand and very clear water that remains shallow for nearly a hundred meters from the shore, making it one of the safest spots for families and children. The beach is well-organized with a stylish beach bar, sunbeds, and various cultural events held in the nearby stone amphitheater.
