About the Beach
Monastiria Beach is a remote and secluded dual bay located on the northern tip of Antiparos characterized by its twin coves separated by a narrow rocky peninsula. The landscape is entirely wild and primitive featuring high arid hills and a total absence of commercial organization which ensures a sense of complete isolation. Access is primarily by boat or via a long dirt track which has preserved the area as a sanctuary for those seeking a quiet and unrefined Mediterranean environment. The surrounding geography is marked by its rugged and wind swept character where the pale rock formations and low scrubland dominate the visual identity of this northern outpost.
