About the Beach
Parasporos Beach is a wide and impressive sandy bay on the western coast of Paros, located just south of the main port of Parikia and famous for its vibrant sunset views. It features a long stretch of fine golden sand and intense blue water, surrounded by high rocky cliffs and lush green vegetation that create a dramatic and scenic landscape. The beach is well-organized with many rows of sunbeds, umbrellas, and several stylish beach bars that play upbeat music and host lively parties during the summer months. It is a hub of social activity on the island and attracts a young and cosmopolitan crowd who enjoy the mix of natural beauty and modern amenities. The water is deep and fresh, providing an invigorating environment for a long swim, though it can become choppy when the western winds are blowing. Access is very easy via a paved road or the local bus, and there is a large parking area available for visitors. The entry into the water is easy and the clarity is consistently high. The atmosphere is social and reflects the modern spirit of the island tourism. It is a central part of the island seaside life for all who enjoy the fresh sea air.
