Saliara Beach is a spectacular and unique beach located on the northeastern coast of Thassos, famously known as Marble Beach due to its shore of small white marble pebbles. It features intense turquoise water that looks tropical against the bright white stones, creating a luminous effect even on cloudy days. The beach is well-organized with a trendy beach bar, sunbeds, and music, offering a vibrant and cosmopolitan atmosphere that attracts an international crowd. Access is via a relatively long dirt road from Makryammos, which can be dusty but leads to one of the most photographed spots on the island.
