Seitan Limania Beach also known as Stefanou Beach is a world-famous and visually dramatic coastal canyon located on the Akrotiri peninsula of Crete featuring a landscape of narrow zig-zagging white rock formations that enclose a tiny strip of bright turquoise water in a primitive environment that is accessible only by a steep and challenging rocky path down the cliffside where there is no commercial organization or shade of any kind providing a surreal and powerful connection to the geological forces of the island as the deep blue sea carves its way through the stark limestone walls of the gorge to create a natural and hidden harbor.
