Skala Marion Beach Thassos

Skala Marion Beach is a picturesque and traditional sandy cove located on the southwestern coast of Thassos, within the charming fishing village of the same name. It features fine golden sand and clear turquoise water that remains calm because the small bay is well-protected by the surrounding rocky arms. The beach is partially organized with a few sunbeds and umbrellas, but it maintains a quiet and local character compared to the larger resort shores of the island. It is a destination for those who want to combine a relaxed swim with the authentic atmosphere of a working harbor. The surrounding area is vibrant with several traditional tavernas that serve fresh local fish right by the water edge. The water is shallow near the shore and the entry is very easy and sandy for all swimmers. It is a spot for nature lovers who appreciate the connection between the sea and the daily life of the island residents. The atmosphere is welcoming and reflects the slow rhythm of the northern Aegean.
