About the Beach
Tripiti Beach is a charming and relatively quiet pebbled shore on the southern coast of Paros, named after the large cave or hole in the nearby rocky headland. It features a shore of small white pebbles and exceptionally clear blue water that is deep and fresh, offering a high-quality environment for a long swim away from the busier resort hubs. The beach is unorganized and maintains a raw, peaceful character, with a few large trees providing the only source of natural shade along the back of the sand. The surrounding landscape is dry and rugged, providing a simple and dramatic frame to the coast. It is a destination for those who want a more authentic and solitary swimming experience in a setting that feels like a private discovery. The water is clean and the visibility is excellent for snorkeling along the rocky edges of the cove. Access is via a dirt track or by boat, which helps keep the atmosphere quiet and respectful. You should bring all your own water and supplies for the day as there are no commercial facilities. The entry into the water is via the smooth stones and the depth increases at a moderate pace. The atmosphere is local and reflects the slow rhythm of the Cyclades.
