About the Beach

Vatos is a spectacular and remote beach on the southern coast of Samothrace, often considered the most beautiful on the island. It features fine sand and crystal clear turquoise water, framed by high cliffs and a lush forest of plane trees. Access is primarily by boat or by a very long and difficult hike, which keeps the beach as a pristine and private sanctuary.
