How to make a Greek frappe. | Greece Media

Are you wondering how to make a Greek frappe? Whether you've tasted one and want to make them again, or just curious as to what they taste like. This article will show you how!

To make a Greek frappe, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 2 table spoons of Nescafe instant coffee

  • 1 tablespoons sugar (2 tablespoons if you want it sweet)

  • Water

  • 1oz. of milk (optional)

  • Ice cubes

Here is a simple method for making a Greek frappe:

  1. In a shaker or blender, combine the instant coffee, sugar, and 1 to 2 oz. of lukewarm or warm water. Shake or blend until the ingredients are well mixed and the coffee has dissolved, pour it into a cup of ice cube.

  2. Add a touch of milk. (Optional)

  3. You can garnish the frappe with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired.

Note: The traditional method for making a Greek frappe involves using a frappe mixer, which is a handheld device that froths the coffee mixture using a rapid back-and-forth motion. If you don't have a frappe mixer, you can use a shaker or blender to achieve a similar effect.
