Getting from Agistri to Crete

Taking the Saronic ferry from Agistri to Piraeus, the metro to Athens Airport and flying to Crete takes around 50 minutes in the air. Total travel time is around 4 to 5 hours and is the most practical approach for most travelers.

Take the Saronic ferry from Agistri to Piraeus and fly to Crete via Athens. It is the fastest and most practical approach for most travelers. If you are traveling with a car, take the Saronic ferry from Agistri to Piraeus and board the overnight Piraeus to Crete ferry, which takes your vehicle directly to the island and arrives in the morning ready to go. Choose Heraklion for central and eastern Crete, Chania for the west.
