Getting from Anafi to Paros

If you are heading to Paros from Anafi you are making your way from one of the most remote islands in the Cyclades to the hub of the group. It has one of the most beautiful small harbour villages in Greece at Naoussa, long sandy beaches on the west coast and a position at the centre of the island ferry network.

Take the ferry

There is a seasonal direct ferry from Anafi to Paros running in summer on the wider Blue Star route. The service runs a limited number of times per week and takes around 5 to 8 hours depending on the vessel and stops. It keeps the journey entirely within the Cyclades and avoids going through Athens. Alternatively, take the ferry from Anafi to Santorini and then the Santorini to Paros ferry, which runs multiple times daily in summer and takes around 3 to 5 hours.

Getting there by air

Paros has a small airstrip but no commercial scheduled flights operate there as of 2026. Anafi has no airport either. The ferry connection via Santorini is the most practical approach for this Cyclades hop.

Your best option

Take the direct seasonal ferry from Anafi to Paros when the schedule works for your dates. It is the most direct approach and delivers you to Parikia port in the centre of the island. If the direct service does not align, take the ferry from Anafi to Santorini and connect to Paros from there. If you are traveling with a car, the Blue Star conventional ferry takes your vehicle directly to Parikia.
