Getting from Andros to Tinos

If you are heading to Tinos from Andros you are making your way from the northernmost island in the Cyclades to a neighbouring island just to the south. It has the most venerated pilgrimage church in Greece and a tradition of extraordinary marble craftsmanship in its interior villages.

Take the ferry

There is a direct ferry from Andros to Tinos running up to 24 times a week in summer, taking around 1 hour 18 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. It is one of the most frequent and natural connections from Andros and the most effortless island hop in the northern Cyclades. Ferries depart from Gavrio port on Andros and arrive at Tinos Town port directly.

Getting there by air

Tinos has no airport. The nearest airport is Mykonos. Andros has no airport either. The direct ferry is considerably more practical than flying for this very short connection.

Your best option

Take the direct ferry from Andros to Tinos. At around 1 hour 18 minutes it is one of the most effortless island connections in the Cyclades and runs very frequently throughout the day in summer. If you are traveling with a car, the conventional ferry takes your vehicle directly to Tinos Town port.
