Getting from Antiparos to Corfu

If you are heading to Corfu from Antiparos you are making your way from a small quiet island in the Cyclades to the northwestern part of Greece, an island in the Ionian Sea with a UNESCO World Heritage Site town and a lush green coastline.

Take the ferry

There is no direct ferry from Antiparos to Corfu. Antiparos is connected only to Paros by a 7 minute ferry from Pounta running every 30 minutes in summer. The only mainland ferry connection to Corfu departs from Igoumenitsa. Getting to Corfu means taking the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros, making your way to Piraeus and flying to Corfu via Athens, or driving northwest to Igoumenitsa for the short ferry from Igoumenitsa to Corfu taking around 1 hour 30 minutes.

Getting there by air

Corfu has an international airport with daily connections from Athens. Antiparos has no airport either. Taking the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros, making your way to Piraeus and flying to Corfu via Athens gives a total journey time of around 6 to 7 hours. In Greece, airlines do not operate direct inter island flights.

Your best option

Take the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros, make your way to Piraeus and fly to Corfu via Athens. It is the fastest and most practical approach. If you are traveling with a car, take the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros and drive northwest to Igoumenitsa for the ferry across to Corfu, which gives you a vehicle on the island for exploring the coastline and interior villages.
