Getting from Antiparos to Milos

If you are heading to Milos from Antiparos you are making your way from a small quiet island in the Cyclades to one of the most visually striking islands in the group, on the western side of the Aegean. It has a volcanic coastline of white and ochre rock formations and beaches that look like nowhere else in Greece.

Take the ferry

There is a seasonal direct ferry from Antiparos to Milos running in summer on the wider Blue Star and Seajets routes. The service runs a limited number of times per week and takes around 3 to 5 hours with stops along the way. The more practical approach for most travelers is to take the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros, which takes 7 minutes from Pounta, and then board the Paros to Milos ferry, which runs several times daily in summer and takes around 2 to 3 hours.

Getting there by air

Milos has its own small airport with connections from Athens. Antiparos has no airport. Taking the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros, making your way to Piraeus and flying to Milos via Athens gives a total journey time of around 5 to 6 hours. In Greece, airlines do not operate direct inter island flights.

Your best option

Take the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros and board the Paros to Milos ferry. It is the most direct and practical connection and keeps the journey within the Cyclades. If you are traveling with a car, take the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros and board the conventional ferry from Paros to Milos, which takes your vehicle directly to Adamas port.
