Getting from Antiparos to Mykonos

If you are heading to Mykonos from Antiparos you are making your way from a small quiet island in the Cyclades to the most cosmopolitan island in the group, just a short distance to the north. Mykonos has a maze of whitewashed lanes above the port, long beaches on the south coast and some of the best beach clubs in Greece.

Take the ferry

There is a seasonal direct ferry from Antiparos to Mykonos running once a week in summer, taking around 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes. For more frequent connections the most practical approach is to take the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros, which takes 7 minutes from Pounta and runs every 30 minutes in summer, and then board the Paros to Mykonos ferry from Parikia, which runs multiple times daily and takes around 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on the vessel. Total journey time via this route is around 2 to 3 hours.

Getting there by air

Mykonos has an international airport with connections from Athens. Antiparos has no airport. The nearest airport is Paros, though no commercial scheduled flights operate there in 2026. The ferry connection via Paros is the most practical approach for this Cyclades hop. In Greece, airlines do not operate direct inter island flights.

Your best option

Take the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros and then board the Paros to Mykonos ferry from Parikia. It is the most frequent and practical connection and keeps the journey entirely within the Cyclades. Book ahead in July and August as Mykonos ferry spaces fill up fast.
