Getting from Antiparos to Serifos

If you are heading to Serifos from Antiparos you are making your way from a small quiet island in the Cyclades to an island in the western part of the group. It has a Chora that climbs a steep hill above the port in a way that looks almost impossibly dramatic from the water.

Take the ferry

There is a seasonal direct ferry from Antiparos to Serifos running in summer on the wider Blue Star and Seajets routes. The service runs a limited number of times per week and takes around 3 to 6 hours with stops along the way. The more practical approach is to take the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros, which takes 7 minutes from Pounta, and then board the Paros to Serifos ferry, which runs several times daily in summer and takes around 2 to 4 hours depending on the vessel.

Getting there by air

Serifos has no airport. The nearest airport is Athens. Antiparos has no airport either. Taking the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros and continuing to Serifos by ferry keeps the journey entirely within the Cyclades and avoids Athens entirely. In Greece, airlines do not operate direct inter island flights.

Your best option

Take the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros and board the Paros to Serifos ferry. It is the most natural and practical connection and keeps the journey entirely within the Cyclades. If you are traveling with a car, the conventional ferry from Paros takes your vehicle directly to Livadi port on Serifos.
