Getting from Donoussa to Skyros

If you are heading to Skyros from Donoussa you are making your way from one of the Small Cyclades to the most remote of the Sporades group, in the northern Aegean. Skyros has its own small airport with connections from Athens, running around twice a week. Donoussa has no airport. The nearest airport is Naxos. Taking the ferry from Donoussa to Piraeus and flying from Athens to Skyros gives a total journey time of around 12 to 14 hours.
